The Property Ombudsman

 

We are members of The Property Ombudsman (TPO) scheme and adhere to its Code of Practice.

 

This provides our clients with:

  • Confidence that complaints, should they arise, are handled fairly

 

If a matter cannot be resolved internally, clients have the right to refer it to The Property Ombudsman.

Trading Standards Approved Code

 

As part of our membership with The Property Ombudsman, we follow a Trading Standards–approved Code of Practice.

Client Money Protection

 

We are members of Client Money Protect, which safeguards client funds.

 

This means:

 

  • Any client money we hold is protected

  • Strict accounting procedures are followed

  • There is recourse in the unlikely event of misuse

CMP Certificate 

Deposit Protection Service

 

Where applicable, tenancy deposits are protected through an approved scheme, including the Deposit Protection Service (DPS).

 

This ensures:

 

  • Tenant deposits are securely held

  • Clear procedures for deposit returns

  • Independent dispute resolution if required

Anti-Money Laundering Compliance

 

As a regulated estate agency, we comply with UK Anti-Money Laundering Regulations.

 

This includes:

 

  • Verifying the identity of our clients

  • Understanding the source of funds

  • Monitoring transactions where required

 

These checks are a legal requirement and form an important part of maintaining the integrity of the property market.
